The Christian Leadership Certificate is designed for individuals who want to grow as Christian leaders in all areas of life - whether at home, in the marketplace, or in ministry. Using a Christian worldview lens, this certificate educates students with high quality, essential biblical knowledge and skills to empower them to lead themselves and others effectively in their area of influence.

CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP

The Ministry Leadership Certificate is tailored for working adults who feel called to vocational ministry. This certificate focuses on training individuals for various leadership roles within the church. Students will need to complete the Christian Leadership Certificate alongside this certificate, gaining both foundational leadership skills and specialized training for church-related ministry roles.

MINISTRY LEADERSHIP

The Biblical and Theological Studies Certificate is designed to deepen students’ understanding of Scripture, helping them clarify what they believe and why they believe it.

Duration: One Academic Year | August - May
The Placement Pathway is designed to run in parallel with the second year of the Ministry Leadership certificate, enhancing your ministry development with hands-on ministry training experience. Students in the pathway will be able to select a ministry lane they want to pursue during this one-year opportunity.

Tuition
Tuition for each certificate is $400 per term or $800 per semester.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED by first day of class.
Lawful US residency confirmed or secured through the lifespan of your program.
Be a committed follower of Christ.
Ensure access to sufficient financial resources to cover tuition, fees, and expenses.
Affirm agreement with the DEVO Church Statement of Faith.
Submit an Interest Form to DEVO Church followed by a Program Application to HCLI.

There is no attendance requirement for students enrolled in any of the certificates. However, if enrolled in the Placement Pathway, students are allowed 2 absences per term.

No. All certificates are available for those who meet the requirements. The Placement Pathway is only available to in-person students who attend DEVO Church.

Financial assistance is available on a case-by-case basis. As part of your application process with DEVO, you will be required to indicate whether or not you need support.

No, a separate application for the Christian Leadership certificate is not required. If you are pursuing a Ministry Leadership certificate, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the Christian Leadership certificate if you haven’t already enrolled.
